winter morning

Looking down the Tobetsu field

After a few days of snowing, it feels that this snow will probably stick about for the rest of the winter.

Wow...this picture, paradoxically, portrays not how winter looks, with it's crisp, stark edges, but so much of how winter FEELS. Transparent like ice and blurry; because when it's so cold I can't think straight.

Snow dusted over our little town this morning and I was so thrilled! I couldn't contain my frozen smile when, suddenly, I looked down and the sidewalk read, "Hi Dawn," etched out in the snow! Will had finally returned months of one-sided waving toward his office with a little message. It made my morning.

I thought you would appreciate that little story.

Miss you, me (If you say that really fast it sounds like your name!!!!) xoxoxo

This picture is what we were talking about when I saw the oil painting of the fields darkened by sunset in your room that night.

Looks like Dawn and I commented at the same time tonight.

Well, alex, to clarify, when I clicked on the button it read "0 comments," but in the few seconds it took for the page to load Dawn must have commented, for it appeared when the comments page loaded. I looked at the clock and it read 9:46. So there. (Fart-head.)
