Detroit Metropolitan International Airport is a hub for Northwest Airlines. I flew over from Tokyo and had six-hour layover there at the airport. The departure terminals are huge with lots of stores and all kinds of restaurants, cafes and bars. It wasn't too difficult to kill some hours there. Besides, the sunset at around eight o'clock was so exquisite that I could just keep watching the western-sun-lit terminal for hours.
