A town with an atmosphere

Otaru

Otaru is an old port town 50minutes away from Hokkaido's capital, Sapporo by local train. The city is almost over populated by the tourists who visit to see the town's picturesque scenes with a canal and the Victorian style street lamps. The glassware is really popular and famous here as well.
However, the best is the near-by beach. On the way to Oraru, you can see the real clear water and the beach from the train. For a split second, I wanted to live there for real.
